Curves has established an enviable reputation for supporting charities and 2008 has been no exception. During the past year, the club and all its members have worked tirelessly for charities, locally and nationally, raising phenomenal amounts of cash.

The club also supported a local women's refuge at christmas by donating literally hundreds of presents for those most needy.

During October, the club, together with our sister clubs in Wickford and South Woodham Ferrers, raised £2,578 towards Breast Cancer Care - a phenomenal sum of money. Thank you to everyone who helped reach and exceed our goals.

In November we raised money for Children In Need from member's donations.

We continue to work to make a significant contribution to our local and national commuinities.
